Unhinged Unwind Becomes...

Corporate girly šŸ¤neurodivergent glory. Here we go!

I’ve been off social media for a hot minute. I deleted Instagram from my phone over a month ago, and TBH, I haven’t missed it too much. A lot has been going on in life—my role has been expanding at work, and as a result, I’ve felt growing pains like an awkward teenager going through a growth spurt. Second, we got a cat! Peanut is our sweet little orange and white cat that we rescued (long story, I will make an Instagram post when I return) and that we are in love with. Other than that, my life has been full of family, books, and bone broth hot chocolate (it’s delicious). ā˜•

She’s back. With a slight rebrand, that is. If you haven’t learned by now, I’m pretty impulsive with bright ideas that can burn out faster before they take off. But fear not (I fear always); I am here to stay. Let me tell you why.

This newsletter is getting a rebrand, and here’s what to expect! Welcome to Of The Well Labs, where I share health communication tips & career growth tricks, all through my personal experiences as a neurodivergent woman in the digital health space. šŸš€šŸ’«

I am learning and experimenting in real time and sharing those experiments with you.

What are these experiments about, exactly?

It begins with my curiosities.

I am curious about many things (you should see my Google history lol). Still, I am curious how language, media, and digital environments shape health behavior change. What supports patients in achieving their desired outcomes and making decisions about their health? What do patients care about? How can my team and I create a meaningful solution that puts people first, and how can we replicate success on the backend?

I am also very curious about investment in growth. As someone who used to have a devastatingly low belief in myself that spilled into each facet of life, I have dedicated myself to the study of confidence through various forms over the past few years, such as improving my communication skills, leadership skills, learning new skills that will advance my work, and developing practices that promote a healthy mindset. How can I become my most favorite version of myself? What can I do to be proud of myself and my contributions?

TL;DR: I can’t stop learning, so I’m taking you with me, and we can learn together.

You are welcome here whether you are just entering the digital health space or a long-time player. We are learning how to engage patients better, build executive presence, the latest science on behavior economics, and communicate more effectively for starters.

Every week, I share one main topic, as well as any relevant updates on the latest reads, listens, and other learnings. I finally feel like I’m able to combine the personas of my two worlds into one and build one integrated personal brand with substance while I can still be playful and feel like myself.

You are getting the real deal, full mamba jamba right here. I’ll be sharing a lite version on LinkedIn. And yes, there will be unhinged gems in this that won’t be on the LinkedIn version, so don’t write it off as corporate smorporate boring. Not here, ladies, not today.

With that said, I’m getting things ready to take off fully. I don’t want to wait until January; snooze fest. I’ll start now (next week), why not? We all need a break from the holiday madness. 🄵

If this isn’t your jam, please consider unsubscribing. Although I’d be sad to see you go, your time is important!

Suppose you’re all on board—first—yay! Second, please write back and tell me what you look forward to in this next adventure.

.Until next time.
